Bonheur-du-jour In Mahogany, Louis XVI Style - Mid-19th Century

Lady's piece of furniture called "Bonheur-du-jour" in the Louis XVI style, in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. Its belt is equipped with a single drawer whose knockout front is surrounded on the inside by a brass quarter round. Two Louis XVI brass pull handles frame an authentic lock in working order, benefiting from an oval bronze entrance surmounted by a Louis XVI knot. On each side, a brass inlay forming a diamond brings a touch of originality to this property. Above, two pull tabs with “lens” buttons allow the writing part to be held in place, which unfolds thanks to hinges. We discover a dark interior part of an almond green leather with cold stamp, golden stamp and angles with golden patterns as well. We find an original lock with key in working order embellished with a beaded Louis XVI entry.
