Double columns are placed on each side of the central door and single columns are placed on each side of the two side doors.
Chiseled and gilded bronze statues adorn each of the doors as well as the upper central drawer.
The central door opens with seven drawers in four rows inlaid with ebony and adorned with very finely chiseled bronze pull handles.
The side doors each open onto four drawers in three rows inlaid with ebony and adorned with very finely chiseled and gilded bronze pull handles.
Twice four secret drawers are hidden behind the exterior columns that frame the central door. An ingenious blocking system appearing inside the drawers adjoining these columns makes it possible to separate them and reveal these eight small secret drawers. Chiseled and gilded bronze statues adorn each of the doors as well as the upper central drawer.
The top of the cabinet is surrounded by an ebony cornice and gilded bronze lifting handles appear on the sides.
The cabinet rests on six feet, four of which are on the front in the shape of a half-top decorated with chiseled and gilded bronze stars. It is placed on an ebony base from the later 19th century.
The base veneered with scales on the front belt and inlaid with ebony on the sides rests on each side on a large twisted column each fixed on a winged dragon mounted by a child with a club. It rests in the rear part on a frame in the shape of a pointed window surmounting four small twisted ebony columns
