It measures 100cm x 200cm long and is in immaculate condition.
Decorated with botehs (burning bushes), the colors of the edges are different on both sides.
Srinagar, the Venice of India, its carpets decorated with gardens, such as the Shalimar Gardens, its papier-mâché, its sumptuous shawls and its colorful culture.
India and especially the Kashmir region is not a wool-producing country, hence the little use of this material.
Apart from the queen of wools the "Shatoosh", known all over the world and coming from an ibex in the mountains of Ladak.
The wool used in India comes almost mainly from imports.
The pieces from Kashmir are of irreproachable quality, knotted with first-rate materials as beautiful as in Iran and making them for many decades, an important competition.
This Shawl has been professionally and ecologically cleaned.
