Beautifully crafted work with a wonderful expression but quite difficult to date precisely, 19th century or earlier.
Surprisingly preserved and protected in a small wooden and glass display case, formerly a lantern.
Slightly stripped, very nice patina.

Dimensions
24cm high without the handle, 15cm wide and 15cm deep, Christ is 17cm high.
