Solid silver jug resting on three claw feet with palm leaves attached.The spout with the head of an eagle attaches with foliage to the body surrounded by quartefeilles and rows of small pearls.
The lid is topped with a fretel in the shape of a pine cone.

Master silversmith: GE Koënig, L'Orfèvrerie, la grosserie, 7 cour Lamoignon, Paris, insculpation 1814-1815 (guarantee n° 1718), successor of Jacques Grégoire Rousseau who had a similar hallmark with a greyhound's head, a bird above and a bird below. Total weight: 629g
