Watercolor on paper around 1850. Signed lower left. This is the Heucheloup-Hymont-Mattaincourt mineral water estate in the Vosges. This estate exploited mineral waters until 1938 and was then bought by Vittel. The watercolor is in very good condition, there are some bites in the sky. For a watercolor that is 170 years old, it is very well preserved.
The watercolour was on sale in the Galerie de la Scala in the 8th arrondissement.
At sight 74 x 49.5 cm.
The frame measures 98 x 74.5 cm.
