Gustave François Beaudelet was a French landscape painter, born in Paris on August 25, 1893. He also worked his whole life until retirement as a banker. As an artist, he took part in the Salon des Indépendants in Paris between 1928 and 1963 and the exhibitions of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1938 to 1968. He mainly painted scenes of Paris and its neighborhoods and especially the Montmartre district. His work is exhibited in the Musée de Sceaux. He died in Paris on May 5, 1968, aged 74, and was buried in Kremlin-Bicêtre (Val de Marne).
