Entirely handmade, pure wool, vegetable dyes, size: 220x158. Bukhara rugs are among the most popular and famous of Pakistani rugs. These luxurious-looking rugs are usually made of high-quality Australian or New Zealand wool, which makes them extremely soft and shiny, but also very thin and resistant. Mostly, these rugs feature the elephant foot pattern called gul, both inspired by the design of traditional Turkmen rugs. In sum, Pakistani Boukhara rugs are stylish and functional, perfectly suited for everyday use and ready to last superbly over time, provided they are well cared for with traditional hand cleaning every 3-4 years that we have been making by hand for 40 years.
