Statuette of Buddha in carved iron wood circa 1950/60: Dhyana-Mudra, "Mudra of meditation" two models. The two hands are placed on top of each other, palms up, fingers stretched out, they rest on the legs of the Buddha seated in lotus. This Mudra represents Buddha's confrontation with Mara before his enlightenment. Buddha is the one who acquired wisdom and is responsible for spreading the knowledge of lights throughout the world.
