"Community Oratory, Prie - Dieu Louis XIII Style In Blond Oak, Period XIX"
Beautiful community oratory in the Louis XIII style, made in the 19th century. This beautiful kneeler is in blond oak. It rests on a base forming a platform surmounted by four columns with rosaries ending in a baluster in their upper part, all supporting a small chest with a top that can be lifted by means of hinges. This oratory comes from a religious community (Saint Mary community). It is in a very good state of preservation. However, some traces of wear are to be noted (small lack of woodwork on the boards of the lower part), as well as old holes of xylophages. Superb patina. Presence of a small lock in the chest, furniture sold without key. Interior chest dimensions: 29cm x 14cm
