Portrait In Oval Medallion
We present this interesting oval medallion portrait in a brass frame with remnants of gilding. It represents a young girl in a lace cap, from the 18th century, probably painted on ivory (we have not unframed it). Behind a glass is placed on a fabric a lock of hair of this young girl and probably her initials. (E)
