Elegant "Naïads" vase from the Art Deco period circa 1925 signed Carrillo - Made in France with a pear-shaped structure in thick satin-finish white pressed-molded glass decorated on all sides in high relief depicting draped young naked women on a background of water pearls framed by a stepped fan, square neck. Very good state. Dimensions: 25 cm high x 20 cm wide / Collar: 5.5 x 5.5 cm. In the 1920s - 1930s Carrillo specialized in the manufacture of bottles for perfumery, pharmaceuticals, cutting, polishing and decorations for luxury bottles. This glass factory had its head office in Paris, 134 rue Broca in the 13th arrondissement, with the Company name Lesage & Carrillo. As evidenced by period catalogs, Carrillo vases and glassware were sold by the luxury lighting store Luminax, 24, rue de la Pépinière in Paris in the 8th arrondissement. Its catalogs also present well-known models by Henri Heemskerk from the Scailmont glassworks.
