Kilij - Pala à Kabza in ivory, Ottoman Empire, late 18th century, early 19th century. Kabza in ivory, set with steel rivets. Aging cracks on the pommel. Guard (balçak) in traditional cruciform brass, quillon ending in olive. Curved 1-edged blade in yalman steel, "T" shaped dorsal column known as "PALA", nielloed with inscriptions in a cartouche in the third and a star with crescent moon. Blade arrow: 6 cm. Brass scabbard hammered on wood with two suspension rings and wide opening on the back facilitating the passage of the blade, see photos. Kilij sold with a CITES (for the ivory of the pommel) dated June 2, 2022.
