"Statuette - Dogon / Mali"
This female statuette in gray wood has a soft light patina tending towards white, giving it a special look. The prominent chest associated with the scarified hairstyle of this figure gives it a certain stylistic interest. Note also the 3 vertical scarifications on each side of the face, parallel to each other and down to the bottom of the cheeks.
