Painting oil on canvas with dimensions of 55 x 40 cm without frame and 62 x 47 with frame depicting a young woman from the early eighteenth century in the Venetian area.

Truly graceful painting, symbol of a Venetian painting that is changing style and from magnificence to grace, straight line and play of curves; this is the period preceding the rococo which in Italy had more harmonious characteristics than elsewhere.

In this painting we can see the typical rococo themes or the draped drapes visible in this really fine and truly delightful dress for its colors that flood the canvas with decorative richness; however, by analyzing the girl's face and the grace and prettiness we can see how we want to tell an aesthetic that is not only "ethical", but also the attempt to express this freedom of decorum through the sensitivity of sometimes courtly and other even more frivolous emotions and this gracefulness of colours, an essential part of Venetian rococo painting.
A painting full of grace and refinement, a typical example of the great moment that Venetian painting was experiencing in those years.
