"Rouen - XVIIIth Century Dish."
Pretty oval dish in ROUEN earthenware, polychrome and high-fired, with strongly turbulent edges (which may suggest the Italian influence). Central decoration called "with a flower basket". Pretty frieze around braces and flowers in blue and red. It bears a mark in blue on the reverse. Traces of pernettes very apparent. XVIIIth century. As it is: a crack at 7 p.m. from the border to the base of the basket, a few small enamel chips. Length: 33.5cm; width: 26.5 cm.
