19th century Italian mirror in gilded wood, bevelled mirror. Numerous sculptures run all around the frame, at the top right and left of the chimeras, at its top the head of Mercury and overhanging a large leaf and its windings of acanthus leaves, at the bottom on both sides of the sphinxes winged to the busts of women and for the rest a lace of openwork leaves which punctuate the crosspieces and the uprights. The inner frame is molded with large grooves and leaves in the corners. The mirror has some small whitish spots. The two fir uprights screwed to the back have been put in place for transport.
