19th century Louis Philippe mirror. This one was originally gilded, then it was painted blue-green, and finally white. The paint has peeled off, revealing the different layers and colors. It has deliberately not been restored in order to preserve its history and authenticity. A small piece of the molding is missing on the lower left corner (visible in the photos) The mercury glass is original, with beautiful pitting.
