Pair of enamel cloisonné silver vases. The 6 panels in gold lacquer inlaid with mother-of-pearl, buffalo horn, tinted bone. Signature of the artist in a gold cartouche. Japanese work from the end of the 19th century. Good condition. No restoration as can usually be seen on this type of work and which are always more or less clumsy., Some missing inlays (see photos) the silver parts are in good condition, neither dented nor scratched. The enamelled parts are complete. It is rare to come across a pair. Precise details of all missing inlays will be given. Never cleaned, original patina. Height approximately: 23.5cm
