"Pair Of Rosewood Armchairs From The Napoleon III Period."
Beautiful pair of armchairs with petit point upholstery, Louis XV style, in rosewood. The perimeter of the backrest is scalloped and molded, a floral sculpture adorns the upper crosspiece. The armrests are connected to the seat by an animated and molded upright. The front crosspiece of the seat, molded and scalloped in both directions, connects two arched legs with volute winding. The structure of the seats is in very good condition, the original upholstery, although softer than new upholstery, offers acceptable comfort. The petit point tapestry is in good condition. W/D/H: 69 X 69.5 X 98 cm. W/D/H of the seat: 65 X 51 X 42 cm.
