"Printing Locker Of Typographic Arts By Alain Radiguer"
Old solid wood printing cabinet. This locker comes from an old printing house in the south of France, where it was used to store printing characters. What makes this piece of furniture so beautiful, beyond its absolutely magnificent condition, is that it comes from the workshops of Alain Radiguer, a specialist in graphic arts and printing equipment. Alain Radiguer is one of the major figures of the resistance during the 2nd World War, and his company provided the necessary equipment to ensure the communication and propaganda of the resistance fighters. It is therefore quite possible that this piece of furniture participated in the history of France. Furniture from the Radiguer workshops is particularly rare. These pieces of furniture were of excellent design and workmanship. This one has an inclined double bottom, which made it possible to store letters of different sizes, well wedged at the bottom of their space. On the top shelf is a small metal plate from the manufacturing workshop. Dimensions: - Height: 68 cm - Length: 93 cm - Width: 15 cm Weight: 15 kg Delivery possible in France and worldwide
