A fine set of 8 (6+2) stunning quality early 19th century original William IV period mahogany dining chairs. Two armchairs and six bar back dining chairs with Trafalgar backs and lovely scrolled carving, with carved bar and reeded uprights, over black color fabric reupholstered drop in seats, standing on reeded saber legs. The condition of the set of 8 dining chairs is excellent for their age. The mahogany has a gorgeous patina, retaining plenty of character. Chairs: 49cm Wide, 51cm Deep and 89cm High Armchairs: 56cm Wide, 60cm Deep and 90cm High The seat height is 47cm.
