Pair of baluster vases from the Manufacture Samson. With a rich, varied and quality production, this factory named after its creator Edmé Samson (1810-1891) enjoyed significant success in the 19th century. Each of these vases has a gadrooned body, surmounted by a polylobed neck enhanced with a golden border. Placed on an elegant pedestal, these vases have polychrome decorations combining spring flowers and Asian motifs. Each one is marked with a monogram featuring the "S" of the porcelain maker.
