"Child's Rocking-chair In Beech, Maison Thonet - 1910"
Charming armchair called "Lullaby of child" in nicely curved Beech. Iconic both in its design and its manufacture, this model n°12331 from Maison Thonet is part of the quest for a minimalism dear to its creator. The Thonet house, created in 1859, revolutionized the furniture industry by patenting its process for bending wood boiled in a bath of glue, in order to make it curved.
