"Rare Chest Of Drawers, Victorian Period, England - 2nd Half Nineteenth"
High Victorian English chest of drawers in mahogany veneer, consisting of eight drawers on four levels, all lockable. The rarity of this piece of furniture is due in particular to its wide upper band, comprising two small drawers on each side and a large drawer in the center. Below, this chest of drawers has three large drawers whose height increases when going down. All the drawers of this elegant storage unit have two wooden knobs for easy opening and an original lock with its key, in working order. Note the presence of dust covers between all the drawers. These have a pine interior and the three large ones have a central crosspiece which in the event of heavy load prevents the bottom from deforming, thus underlining the quality of manufacture of this piece of furniture. The top of the cabinet is made of a single piece of wood without joints and the back is made of pine. Particular by its height, this Victorian chest of drawers will seduce you with its deep color and refined sobriety. ******** Period: 2nd half of the 19th century Finish: Satin Varnish Delivery possible, in France and in Europe, by our partner specializing in the transport of furniture.
