"Box Silver- Gold- Vermeil"
19th century rectangular box in silver, 18K gold and vermeil. The cover is adorned with a gold appliqué on a guilloché silver background representing a circle of young women dressed in antique style; the scene is framed by a garland of flowers embellished with 3 knots also in gold. The borders and the 4 sides finely chiselled with decorative motifs are also in gold. The reverse is centrally decorated with a stylized monogram encircled in gold and the 4 corners of flowers and foliage in gold, the whole being on a guilloché silver background. This precious and pretty box is in good condition. Note: the 18K indication is at the bottom right of the circle, on the lid. L: 7.5cm W: 5.2cm D: 1cm 87.4g
