"V. Seris : "bouquet Of Carnations""
V. Seris (20th century): “The bouquet of carnations”, oil on isorel panel 55 X 46 cm, mounted in a gilt frame with white marie-louise 68 X 59 cm. If the works of this artist sometimes appear on the market, both landscapes and still lifes, we do not know anything about him! And yet, when you see the accuracy with which he transcribed the petals of these pink, white and purple carnations whose stems spring from an earthenware vase, you suspect that he has a job!
