Exceptional, large castle mirror, 17th century Baroque (210 cm)Large carved mirror with coat of arms cartouche. Baroque, Italy, 17th century.
Richly carved, crimped and partially gilded wood. Flat cartouche-shaped frame, the wide rim partly openwork in the shape of pomegranates, leaves and a coat of arms cartouche below a knight's helmet and crown. The coat of arms is divided into three parts with a tower and a pig on three fleur-de-lys. Small central field of mirrors. Losses and old restorations. Frame and gilding partly outdated.
