"Chinese Porcelain Vase. Dragon On Yellow Background. Qing Dynasty"
Large enamelled porcelain vase. Two dragons with 4 claws pursue the sacred pearl. among clouds. They are treated in polychrome enamels on an enamelled background in imperial yellow. The shape of the vase is unusual, the designs are elegant and well executed. The firing is perfect. No mark but certainly late 19th century executed during the reign of Emperor Guanxu. Height 46cm. A chip on the heel followed by a large crack.
