"Small Side Table In Solid Oak, Louis XVI Style - 1900"
Small table in solid oak, with top made of two perfectly joined boards, making their junction almost indistinct. The edge of this overhanging tray is scalloped. This piece of furniture opens at one of its ends with a drawer with an iron lens button. The four faces of the belt are worked with knockouts, thus offering successions of salient and overlapping circular motifs. Central flowers are their rallying points. The set rests on four sheathed legs, enriched on their four sides with bead friezes, of decreasing sizes, carved in the thickness of the wood. This design ends up bringing finesse to this small, light and adaptable side table. ******** Period: 1900 Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. After stripping, finish only waxed.
