"Important Pair Of Pewter Vases, Art Nouveau - 1900"
Pair of high vases, ogival in shape, pewter with brown patina and long flared neck. Each vase has distinct decorations in relief, representing on the belly, a young woman, picking poppy flowers, seated on branches. Large coiled handles, of suboval section, connect the double spouted lip and the shoulders of these vases. The widened base with annular seat is slightly molded. This pair of vases will seduce, among other things, by its size and by the emotion that emerges from it.
