It has a straight steel blade with a double edge and a middle edge, the guard with an oval ring is made of iron with two hexagonal quillons, arched towards the front and slightly flared. The fuse is entirely covered with hemmed and braided steel filigree. The urn-shaped pommel is made of iron, finished with a button.
This dagger was used in fencing duels as a complement to the Taza swords. It had the particularity of being reserved for the so-called "weak" hand, namely the left hand.
