Trained at the School of Fine Arts of Reims, Jean-Claude Malarmey joins Robert Pérot and Dominique Baudart to Jean Rivier's workshop in Vallauris then to the pottery "Vieux Moulin". He set up his own workshop in 1957 where he creates very refined enamels inspired by oriental ceramic.
