"Kachina Doll - North America"
Among many Amerindian tribes attached to the Pueblo culture, the link that the populations maintain with the world around them. Very attached to the harmony between the different universes, they venerate the different natural elements such as water, air or even minerals… This perception of life is accompanied by a spirit known as “Kachina”. Covered with a beautiful layer of bark tied by several links, the face of the doll, when it is composed of a black wood whose prominent features are enhanced by white pigment.
