"Louis XIII Style Standing Man, Cabinet From The End Of The 17th Century, Double Body."
Very beautiful cabinet in various woods opening on the front with two large drawers and three leaves. Our piece of furniture is composed of two superimposed parts. The lower body rests on two square section feet at the back and two ball feet at the front, all surmounted by a wide plinth. It opens with two doors decorated with a pretty small diamond point boss. A central frame separates them and is attached to the frame. The upper body is atypical, it opens with a single door also worked in diamond points and off-centered to the right. On its left a reserve decorated with three diamond-point squares. The sides are worked in plates with two rounded sides. This piece of furniture was made at the end of the 17th century - beginning of the 18th century. Note the exceptional thickness of the moldings, and the woods used in particular for the backgrounds. dimensions: bottom height 117 cm top height 99 cm total height 216 cm depth at the plinth 62 cm width at the plinth 118 cm
