- Pair of polychrome colored slip vases painted freehand by Jérôme Massier with ovoid body with long trilobed neck, underglaze decoration representing the Abbey of Lerrins on the island of Saint-Honorat located in the bay of Cannes in the department Alpes-Maritimes (06). - A vase representing a path bordering the sea with maritime pines and sailboats in the bay of Cannes leading to the monastery tower of L'Abbaye de Lerins. - The other vase representing a coastal path lined with maritime pines leading to the Abbaye de Lerins with sailboats in the bay of Cannes. - The pair of vases and signed in the J.Massier decor and countersigned under the underside of the Jérôme Massier Vallauris (AM) vases for Alpes-Maritimes and the letter G and the number 8 painted in black. - Paper label from the porcelain distributor L.Gros Grande rue in Valence in the department of Drôme (26). - Period late 19th century around 1880-1898. - Note slight chips on the neck of the vases, see photos.
