Horsewoman of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) seated on her horse and wearing a traditional headdress indicating her high rank in society. His horse is in a standing, stationary position, nicely harnessed, head held high and tail hanging down. It is placed on a terrace. Set with gray engobe typically from the Wei period. Very good conservation and very good rendering of details. This kind of important piece from this Dynasty is very unusual on the Art market.
