Circa 1830-1840 Alsace - Mulhouse Beautiful bed set in printed canvas from Mulhouse consisting of a quilt, two Bonne-Grâce slopes and a lambrequin dating from the Romantic period. Quilted set with copper roller printing in purple Manganese. Country decor with a basket of fruit, ears of wheat and bunches of grapes, punctuated with bird's nests, majestic peacocks and partridges. Bolster quilt and three crenellated slopes. Large diamond quilting lined with unbleached linen. Mulhouse canvas probably from the Dollfus-Mieg & Cie or Koechlin factory.
