Old Laboratory Balance By F.sartorius Göttingen

Laboratory balance or precision balance in its showcase. Manufactured between 1905 and 1915, by the German firm F.Sartorius, this balance was mainly used in research laboratories. In brass and nickel-plated metal, it is carefully kept in a beautiful walnut showcase, placed on a black glass plate. On the opening side, there is a brass plate identifying the manufacturer and the 3 engineers who created these instruments. It is mounted on 3 brass feet, adjustable in height, to put the scale perfectly level. A small box containing precision weights is present in the display case. This scale is in excellent condition, there are of course some marks on the wood, but nothing that would spoil its general appearance.
