Cylinder body, forged in one piece from a centering point. Sharp edge reinforced by a thick band. Interlocking lid with grip ring beating on a riveted bail. Wrought iron handle, dangling on ears with hanging loop. Property mark: DELVINE. Height: 13.5cm. Diameter: 17cm. This type of pot can be found in 2 still lifes by CHARDIN (1699-1779) with this type of characteristic ears (see photos). 18th century period. Very good condition. High metal density.
