"Cartel 18th Century XVIIIe Signed Cousin à Paris"
Alcove wall cartel from the 18th century around 1780 signed on the dial "cousin in Paris", family of watchmakers listed in the Tardy, dictionary of French watchmakers. Architecture made up of gilded bronze with mercury with a geometric and winding pattern on a fluted background, ornamentation of rosettes, laurel drop and at the top of an armillary sphere covered with a drapery.
Large domed dial in white enamel accompanied by finely worked golden hands, the whole is protected by domed glass. On the front, from a glazed opening, the sun pendulum oscillates in front.
