"Goldscheider Child Sitting On An Armchair"
Superb and rare polychrome terracotta sculpture by Haniroff for Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897), model N° 1225 representing a smiling young black child sitting on his armchair in front of the photographer. This young man, barefoot is dressed in short pants, a jacket covering a red striped jersey and wearing a cap. He wears a broad smile, his hands crossed, seated on an original rattan armchair. The colors of this sculpture have remained very vivid, the whole is in excellent condition. Signature and all references below. Bibliography: Page 32 of the Goldscheider by O. Pinhas, R.
