In 1896, he obtained a worker's decoration. In 1907, he was promoted to worker 1st class. After a few years, he was able to carry out orders in the modern or new aesthetic style (the term Art Nouveau was not yet in use): vases and cups, dishes decorated with flowers, female figures, animals. At the turn of the century, he made copper and silver mounts for Daum and Gallé vases. His work is extremely meticulous and refined. Its motifs, generally cast using the lost wax technique, are of unparalleled quality. We find some of his creations on the art market.
