Slimane was born into a Kabyle family. Having attended the School of Fine Arts in Algiers from 1983 to 1987, Slimane made several personal exhibitions in Algiers (School of Fine Arts, El Mougar Gallery, University of Bab-Zouar) and in Tizi Ouzou (Maison de la Culture), participating in the creation of collective frescoes. Installed since 1990 in France, he regularly exhibits in Paris and in the provinces.
