"Walnut Louis XV Style Desk 1900"
Rare double-sided desk in walnut. It opens with two opposite drawers, hectic top, leather top edged with gilding (worn but usable as is). On one side convex and concave drawers in tiers, openwork pediments. Locks signed JT Needs and J.Bramah, lock manufacturers commissioned by the Crown of England. On the bottom, two glazed boxes, curved uprights and hoof feet, fretted crosspieces. Abundant sculpted decoration on all sides: shells, acanthus leaves, foliage, flowers, interlacing, trimmings, braces. High quality furniture with original architecture. Around 1900. Height under drawer 62 cm, top 75.5 cm, total 109 cm, length 147 cm, depth 99 cm. Possible delivery.
