This is Pierre Favier, born in 1899 in Saint-Just sur Loire. He first studied at the School of Fine Arts in Saint Etienne, then he was a pupil of Le Fauconnier. He has exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Indépendants since 1925, at the Salon Populiste and at the Salon Violet.

Condition: Good condition, fine localized cracks without gravity, normal wear on the carved wooden frame.
