Royal Kachan Mortachem carpet made of very fine and silky wool pile on cotton foundation. Hand woven in the workshop of master weaver Mortachem. Of Iranian origin, dating from the 19th Century. Characterized by an ivory-colored field, 3 garlands and branches of flowering palmettes adorned with an original central red medallion with abraded blue diamond points. In addition, it consists of 4 spandrels of azure blue color reminiscent of the central field. 4 borders, the main one being midnight blue with twisted flowered hooks and rings.
