Pair Of Candelabra In Patinated And Gilded Bronze Empire Period

pair of large candelabras with six lights from the Empire period in patinated and gilded bronze. The finely fluted barrel is decorated in the lower part with acanthus and laurel leaves. It rests on a quadrangular base decorated on three sides with a laurel wreath and on the base a frieze of water leaves. The four feet are in the shape of leafy griffin paws. It is topped with a vase carved with lotus leaves and flowers from which stands a six-light bouquet decorated with grooves, acanthus leaves and lotuses. Parisian work from the beginning of the 19th century.
