Balbino Giner (1910-1976) Originally from Valenciennes, winner of the Prix de Rome, Balbino Giner settled in Roussillon in the 1940s, where he created and produced most of his work. Died in 1976, the artist rests in the cemetery of Collioure, not far from the great Castilian poet Antonio Machado.
