Set of six queen armchairs in walnut molded on all crosspieces and uprights made of curves and counter-curves. The center of the top of the back has a bubble clip as does the center of the seat belt. The armchairs rest on four arched legs surmounted by a pleated fan. The armrest consoles are whiplashed. Exceptional petit point tapestry, called Saint Cyr point, representing fantastic animals. Stamped Nadal l'Ainé Usual restorations H. 94 x W.70 x D. 53 cm Jean René Nadal aka Nadal l'Ainé is the son of cabinetmaker Jean Nadal. Coming from a family of craftsmen, he quickly experienced dazzling success. Master in 1756, he develops a production until the 1780s. Thus, his works are as much Louis XV style as Louis XVI.
